Armed Civilian Vehicle Defense and Combatives
This course is designed for the beginner and experienced student with knowledge and proficiency in proper handgun shooting fundamentals. The course will focus on the shooting and handling of a handgun in relation to its real world applications against a human predator, in/out and around vehicles. This Course will also cover civilian scenario based training, in reference to physical confrontations around vehicles.
The students will remediate fundamentals while engaging targets from inside and around vehicles out to 15 yards with emphasis on shooting through glass barriers/door panels and masonry from inside and outside of vehicles. Other objectives also included is close quarter threat response to an armed carjacking, armed robbery and aggravated battery attempts with and without a weapon. The course will also cover pre and post incident response process.

Recommended Equipment
Students will need at least 600 rounds of ammunition (9 mm/40 or 45 caliber).
Semiautomatic Pistol Chambered in 9mm /40 or 45 caliber
- Minimum of 3 magazines
- Sturdy Holster w/ Belt
- Inside the Waistband holster or Outside the Waistband Holster
- Double or Triple magazine pouch
- Ear and Eye Protection
- Handgun lubrication/cleaning kit
- Comfortable clothing suitable for strenuous activity
- Lunch and Beverage
- Kneepads (optional)
